  • The school Kapa Haka group wins the Tūhono School’s Kapa Haka competition, including first place overall in the senior championship and senior choral section.

  • CGHS 1st XI Cricket beats St Margaret’s First XI in the Gillette Venus Cup regional cricket tournament at Hagley Park, with Sacha Arnold top scoring with 60 runs.

  • CGHS 1st XV Rugby beats Southland Girls’ High School 27–12 at Christchurch Boys’ High School in the South Island Girls Rugby Final.
