Air New Zealand has launched a new Pilot Training cadetship programme
Today Air New Zealand launches its MangĹŤpare Pilot Cadetship.

This exciting programme removes the financial barriers to becoming a pilot through a combination of direct sponsorship and facilitated finance. It is aimed at developing an additional pilot pathway into Air New Zealand to augment traditional sources of supply, and improve diversity amongst our pilot ranks.
We’re looking for 30 outstanding New Zealand citizens, aged 18 or over by September 2024, who have achieved at least NCEA Level 2 with merit, and who have a passion for aviation. They’ll need to be resilient, calm under pressure, quick on the uptake, and experts at working in a team in a dynamic, safety-sensitive environment.
Initial applications are open until 8 July 2024, with the first cohort of students commencing study in Arizona on 23 September.
