Are you passionate about culture and heritage? Want to work in the GLAM sector? This FREE event for senior highschool and university students will introduce you to some of the varied careers in arts and heritage. Speakers for 2024 include:

  • Amy Boswell-Hore, Museum Accessibility Consultant, Access Quest NZ

  • Annabel Armstrong-Clarke, Archivist, Christchurch City Council Archives

  • Chris Davey, Education Officer, Air Force Museum NZ

  • Erna Tidy, Associate Registrar, Canterbury Museum

  • Huia Pacey, Heritage New Zealand

  • Jemma Wiki, UC Macmillan Brown Library

  • Lizzie Meek, Conservator, Antarctic Heritage Trust

  • Meg Nicoll, Art Educator

  • Sarah Davy, Local History Librarian, Selwyn Libraries

  • Tjalling de Vries, Exhibitions Designer, Christchurch Art Gallery

Guest speakers from across the sector will share what’s great about their jobs, and let you know what skills or qualifications you would need to do the same work. Afternoon tea will be served, and there will be opportunities to mingle with the speakers and ask questions.
