Enrol in US Winter Courses Over the NZ Summer
High school students can earn university credit over the NZ summer holidays by enrolling in US winter courses
Some US universities offer winter sessions for high school and visiting students that overlap with New Zealand’s summer holidays, giving ambitious students in the southern hemisphere a great opportunity to boost their knowledge and earn university credits over the term break.
Eligibility and enrolment requirements differ, so students should confirm with the individual programmes about whether they are open to current non-US high school students.
Students located in New Zealand should also be sure to check whether the course they’re interested in is offered in-person, hybrid, or remote, and whether it is synchronous (at a set time) or asynchronous (on your own time).
