Get Involved – Volunteer at the 2026 Canterbury A&P Show
The Canterbury A&P Show has been a highlight of the region for 163 years, and it wouldn’t happen without volunteers. Every November, over 70,000 visitors attend the event and thousands of hours go into bringing the Show to life behind the scenes and they’d love your help to bring this year’s show to life.
Volunteer roles include:
• Pre-event set-up
• Gates and ticketing
• Hospitality and catering
• Trade site and exhibitor support
• Arena and event assistance
• Parking and traffic support
• General event support
• Site machinery & equipment support
• Post-event pack-down
Event details:
Location: Canterbury Agricultural Park, Wigram, Christchurch
Show dates: 11–13 November 2026
Shifts available: Pre-event set-up, all three Show days, and post-event pack-down
