With over 30,000 employees across Australia and New Zealand, Downer has a role to help you kick off your career, and since 2011 our Downer Ready pre-employment programme has set up eligible new employees with extra support to welcome them to the Downer whānau.
Downer Ready is a five-day pre-employment programme where you will be given free PPE, three days of technical training to upskill you, plus a host of work readiness sessions so you are set up to start in your new role. Alongside the five-day programme, participants receive 12-months of support through our award winning In-Work Success pastoral care team.
