Applying for Accommodation

Apply to study online via MyLinc: Once you’ve submitted your study application you will be able to apply for accommodation.

Submit your Accommodation application: create your accommodation application in MyLinc. You will need to give us your personal details, your top 3 hall preferences, and the CCRF (which will be sent to your school). Note: we will not ask you for a personal statement or CV as part of the application.

Check your emails: you will receive an email toward the end of September with all the details about the offer process (including the date offers will be sent), so please ensure you’re checking your emails regularly.
Getting ready for offers

Accept your study offer: before Offer Day you need to log in to MyLinc and accept your study offer. Once this is complete, we will email you your LU username and password which you need to have with you for the Accommodation offer process.

Know your MyLinc log in details: make sure you know your MyLinc log in details and can easily log in to the portal on Offer Day.

Keep checking your emails: we will be sending any information related to Halls to the email address associated with your MyLinc account.
Accommodation Offer Process

Accept your offer & pay the deposit: You need to accept your accommodation offer in MyLinc, and then pay the deposit as soon as possible (do this on the day you receive your offer) as applicants are assigned to rooms on a “first in, first served” basis.

In late October we’ll send an email to confirm whether you have secured a room with us, then in mid December we will let you know what hall/room you have been allocated to.
