Lincoln University: Bachelor of Environmental Management and Bachelor of Environmental Policy and Planning (Honours)

Love nature? Want to help protect the planet? These two degrees are designed for students who care about the environment and want to make a real difference!

🎓 Bachelor of Environmental Management
This 3-year degree is perfect if you’re passionate about solving big global issues like climate change, pollution, or saving endangered species. You’ll learn how the environment connects with people, communities, and economies—and how to manage it all sustainably.

🧭 Careers? Think conservation, sustainability, eco-consulting, or working with government and councils to help protect nature and resources. You could be out in the field, working with communities, or influencing policy that shapes New Zealand’s future.

🎓 Bachelor of Environmental Policy and Planning (Honours)
This 4-year degree is all about planning for a better future—think cities, communities, and the environment working in harmony. You’ll study planning, policy, environmental law, and even the Treaty of Waitangi, with plenty of hands-on experience.

🧠 It’s ideal for students who are interested in both the environment and how we make decisions as a country. Planners are in high demand, and you could end up helping design sustainable cities or lead big environmental projects for councils or companies.
