Approved subjects for our Diploma in Agriculture
Have students interested in agriculture? Our Diploma in Agriculture could be the perfect start to their career. It takes students through eight integrated courses, covering farm management and associated husbandries alongside complementary skills like business and financial planning.
It’s perfect for hands-on learners. They’ll take part in regular lab sessions and attend field trips to farms and businesses, all while getting the vital classroom knowledge needed to succeed in an on-farm role.
This programme requires students to complete 12 weeks of practical work. This can either be done before or after study, but must be completed after leaving high school.
Students need a minimum of 40 credits at Level 2 across four Lincoln University approved subjects, with a maximum of 24 credits in one course. They’ll also need to meet the University Entrance literacy and numeracy requirements.
Students can use level 3 credits towards the subject requirements for this programme as long as the credits come from approved subjects.
You can find everything you need to know about applying here.
Full information about the programme, entry criteria and practical work can be found on the programme page.
