NZ Refugee Health Scholarships
Applications open 1st July and close 1st October 2026
In a bid to continue supporting our former refugee communication is the area of education, we are pleased to announce that the Immigration New Zealand, Refugee and Migrant Support Team have launched its second round of the New Zealand Refugee Health Scholarship programme for 2027 uptake.
The scholarship supports former refugees and their children in Aotearoa New Zealand to pursue health-related qualifications (Level 7 and above), helping to strengthen the refugee health workforce and improve health outcomes for refugee communities.
Eligible applicants may receive:
Up to NZD $25,000 towards course-related costs and living stipend for one academic year.
Tailored mentoring support
Applications open: 1 July 2026
Applications close: 1 October 2026.
