Open Day 2025

Christchurch Girls’ High School/ Te Kura o Hine Waiora, Open Day, Tuesday 20th May 2025.

The annual Christchurch Girls’ High School/ Te Kura o Hine Waiora, Open Day, will take place on Tuesday 20 May 2025.

The Principal’s Address sessions in the PAC at 9, 10, 11am and 12 noon can be booked at 

https://www.schoolinterviews.co.nz/code/nk5bm. 

Year 8 students and their whānau are warmly invited to join in on a tour of the school after the address. 

If you can not attend the Principal’s Address, you can come to the school at any time between 9am and 12 noon for a tour.

If you are unable to attend our Open Day, you will find information about enrolment at our school on our website https://cghs.school.nz/.

Enrolment at the school is governed by The Ministry of Education enrolment scheme. All in-zone students have the right to attend Christchurch Girls’ High School/ Te Kura o Hine Waiora. In-zone applications are accepted at any time, however, please apply early to enable planning for next year.

Out-of-zone ballot applications for 2026 are open. The deadline for receipt of applications is 4pm on 25th July 2025.

Applications for Acland House for Year 9 2026 are now closed. Queries should be directed to Acland House acland@cghs.school.nz.
