The POPO Foundation Programme is no longer running in 2024, which gives us the opportunity to re-evaluate our programme However, we still value support for students aiming towards a career in Health Sciences. Therefore, we are offering 10 scholarships valued at $10,000 for Pathways!
Pathway is perfect for students who want to give themselves the best possible chance at doing well in Health Sciences First Year. Whether students are worried about homesickness in their first year of university or may have not taken all 3 Sciences (Chemistry, Biology and Physics) in NCEA, Pathway gives students the opportunity to head into Health Sciences First Year with their best foot forward.
We understand this is late notice and it is a little later than usual for scholarships, so we encourage applicants to fill in applications ASAP, as we will select as soon as we have the suitable recipients.
NOTE: This Scholarship is for Foundation Year, not for Health Sciences First Year

What does the Scholarship provide?
– A guaranteed place in a University of Otago Residential College
– A subsidy towards the accommodation fees at a University of Otago Residential College
