Our PwC Scholarship applications for 2024 are now open. Here’s some useful information to ensure that you have the necessary dates and guidance to support final year students who may be thinking of applying.
We have two categories of Scholarship available at PwC, to help give young Kiwi talent the best start possible by providing financial support during their tertiary studies, a mentor and an opportunity to apply for a paid Summer Internship. We are not only looking for Accounting students, we are keen to see those studying IT, Economics, Languages and Science to name a few.
Our two Scholarships are as follows:
PwC Scholarship
Each year we offer five PwC Scholarships to support students who are facing financial and/or personal hardship, which may restrict the student’s ability to enter tertiary education. This scholarship is focussed on giving local talent the best start possible by providing financial support during their tertiary studies and having a PwC mentor.
Mā te huruhuru ka rere te manu Scholarship
Adorn the bird with feathers so it can fly. If we give the bird what it needs then it will thrive.
The name of this scholarship is a whakataukī that translates to ‘Adorn a bird with feathers and it will fly.’ This is the foundation of what PwC would like to achieve by awarding this scholarship to talented young Māori. Two Scholarships will be offered to young Māori talent, these were created in partnership with our Manukura Māori Business Team.
We’re looking for students who want the opportunity to launch their career at a human-led, tech-powered community of solvers.
Further information about how to apply, tips for applying, FAQ’s and advice from previous recipients can be found on our website. We also have attached a poster with all the information for you.
Please note, there is an opportunity for students with financial or personal hardship to highlight their circumstances as part of the online application.
Ngā mihi,
PwC Scholarship team
