Radiation therapists are involved in the planning and delivery of radiation treatment and care for patients with cancer. The Bachelor of Radiation Therapy at Otago is a three-year degree taught from our Wellington campus.
Radiation Therapists work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. Students go on clinical placements at cancer centres around the country, gaining the experience that allows an easier transition to working once qualified.

Applications for 2026 entry into the Bachelor of Radiation Therapy open 1 July 2025 and close 14 August 2025.
