Riccarton Rotary Youth Trust Scholarship
Each year, the Riccarton Rotary Youth Trust offers a scholarship for a student from Christchurch, Selwyn, or Waimakariri to study at either the University of Canterbury, Lincoln University, or Ara Institute of Canterbury.
The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial support to a student experiencing significant financial hardship or personal circumstances that might otherwise prevent them from continuing with tertiary study. It recognises that some young people with strong potential face barriers to gaining higher qualifications.
The scholarship is valued at $10,000 per year for up to three years, with a total value of $30,000. Ongoing support is subject to satisfactory academic progress each year.
