Riccarton Rotary Youth Trust Scholarship

 I would like to let you know about a fantastic scholarship opportunity available for your year 13 students to apply for, if they’re going to be attending either Ara Institute of Canterbury, Lincoln University or the University of Canterbury and live in Christchurch, Selwyn or Waimakariri (for at least 12 months). The scholarship is valued at $10,000 per annum, for a total of 3 years, total value $30,000 (subject to satisfactory grades during the year).

 Each year the Riccarton Rotary Youth Trust offers a scholarship to enable a student to attend either the University of C​anterbury, Lincoln University or Ara Institute of Canterbury. The objective of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a student who is experiencing severe financial pressure or has personal circumstances which might otherwise prevent tertiary study. The award recognises that some young people of enormous potential are prevented from obtaining higher qualifications.
