UC – Student Accommodation: Key Information
As students begin exploring their study options for 2027, we’d like to update them on the accommodation application process.
Application Process Update
Preferred Room Type
Students now only need to select their preferred room type when completing their accommodation application.
Waitlist
If applicants are not able to be offered a room initially, we will automatically place the student on our General Waitlist. The General Waitlist sits with Accommodation Services and students may be offered a room by any hall at any time.
Common Confidential Reference Forms (CCRF)
CCRF are required for students who are applying for accommodation at UC. They have now opened.
Other accommodation options
Students who do not receive an initial offer in October may wish to explore alternatives such as homestay or flatting, to increase the accommodation options available to them. UC provides additional information and guidance on its Accommodation webpages.
