University Halls of Residence/Hostel Applications are NOW OPEN. Below are some links to help you find the correct location on each NZ Universities website to apply. Please ensure you check their application closing date as these vary between universities.
Please also ensure you have completed your student CCRF form for your hostel reference. All NZ Universities require this to accept your application. CCRF forms are due by Friday 6th of September.
The University of Auckland – HERE you will find accommodation options and application information for school leaver students undertaking their first year of tertiary studies at the University of Auckland.
University of Canterbury – VIEW their 6 minute video for information on the application process for first year students, key dates and how to apply.
Lincoln University – Living on Campus and Homestays options
Massey University – As a Massey student, you can apply to live in a Massey hall of residence, apartment or studio unit, or with a family in homestay accommodation, or find your own flat. Auckland Halls, Manawatū halls, Wellington Halls, Homestay accomodation.
University of Otago – Otago is famous for its residential college communities. They have 15 diverse colleges catering mostly for first-year students.
Victoria University of Wellington – Choose from a range of living options including catered halls of residence or independent living close to campus in flats, apartments or studios.
The University of Waikato – Provide a range of different accommodation options for students studying at both Tauranga and Hamilton campus. Find out more about their accommodation options, as well as some advice and tips about flatting and renting.
Make sure you apply early. Applications received later on will be considered if rooms are still available.
